Discovery Night at the Museum is February 26, 2025

“Discovery Night” at the Museum of Space History is Wednesday, February 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on the second floor of the museum. “Discovery Night” will highlight the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation (ISHFF), Women in Aviation International (WAI), the all new STARBASE Holloman Program, and the many exciting educational opportunities that the museum’s education program offers. Climb the Cube! 9/11 Remembrance Commemoration Ceremony

Climb the Cube! 9/11 Remembrance Commemoration Ceremony. The New Mexico Museum of Space History is honored to host the community’s annual 9.11 Memorial Stair Climb in conjunction with the City of Alamogordo Fire Department and area first responders. Teams of up to four participants climb the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center in tribute to the fallen heroes of Sept. 11. Firefighters and first responders from across the region are expected to participate. The general public is invited to join the stair climb. The museum is free to first responders and their families during the day.
