New Mexico Museum of Space History’s Astronomy League Star Party

Star Party Theme: Guardians of the Night
A museum educator will be sharing the key to night sky friendly lighting, the dangers of light pollution, and the long-term impacts of dark night skies. Meanwhile, join local astronomers and astrophotographers to use image stacking and enjoy deep sky objects. The star party will begin at 8:30 pm at the Museum of Space History observatory. In case of inclement weather, events will be moved into the Tombaugh Dome and Planetarium.
This is a public star party supported by the NM Museum of Space History’s Astronomy League and Museum Educators. This event is free to the public and will be held at the NMMSH Outdoor Observatory in the upper parking lot. For more information, visit our website at www.nmspacemuseum.org
