Her topic will be “Valentina Tereshkova: First Woman in Space” and will feature the challenges Tereshkova faced. \nWhen: Friday\, June 2\, 2023\, at 9:00 am. \nWhere: New Mexico Museum of Space History\, Alamogordo\, NM. Take the elevator up to the second floor! \nWhy: The event is free and open to the public. Coffee and donuts are compliments of the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation. \nThe next Launch Pad Lecture will be held on Friday\, July 7. The topic will be “Why is it so hard? The Exploration of Mars” presented by Museum Executive Director Chris Orwoll.
