And what causes the beautiful light show during an eclipse? Get ready for the Great American Eclipse of 2023\, and discover how New Mexico natives may have recorded an eclipse nine centuries ago. \nScience Saturday is always free and open to the public. It’s geared towards kids in 2nd – 7th grades. \nThe next Science Saturday will be held on Saturday\, October 8. The topic will be Lining Up Light.
