Rocketeer Academy’s monthly Science Saturday event will take place Saturday, Sept. 10. The topic is PUNCH the Sun. Why does the Moon block the Sun from view? And what causes the beautiful light show during an eclipse? Get ready for the Great American Eclipse of 2023, and discover how New Mexico natives may have recorded an eclipse nine centuries ago.
Science Saturday is always free and open to the public. It’s geared towards kids in 2nd – 7th grades.
The next Science Saturday will be held on Saturday, October 8. The topic will be Lining Up Light.
