The Governor’s Commission to the New Mexico Museum of Space History will hold a regular quarterly meeting at 1:00 pm in the Stuart L. Udall Center for Museum Resources, Large Conference Room (2nd Floor), 725 Camino Lejo, Santa Fe, NM. The Mission of the New Mexico Museum of Space History (NMMSH) Commission is to establish museum of space history policy and determine the mission and direct the development of the museum subject to the approval of the secretary of cultural affairs and to provide direction, advice, and support to the Director of the Museum in the maintenance and operation of the Museum and its activities.

8. Report on Collections – Ms. Brianna Buller
9. Report on Educational Programs – Mr. Mike Shinaberry
10. Int’l Space Hall of Fame Foundation – Mr. Johnny Powell
    • Progress on Draft Agreements
    • Discussion of agreement contents (Commission)
11. Announcements – General call for upcoming activities of interest to the Museum
12. Action: Confirm/Establish Dates of Upcoming Meetings – Commission
    • Friday April 25, 2025 (Alamogordo, NM, at NMMSH).
    • Friday July 25, 2025 (Albuquerque, NM at TBD).
      This will be an opportunity for the Commission to visit and interact with the staff of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science
    • Friday October 31, 2025 (Alamogordo, NM, at NMMSH).

Note:  Following the meeting, the Commission will tour the New Mexico Museum of Indian Arts and Culture located nearby at 710 Camino Lejo.

Except for emergency matters, the Commission cannot take action on new business that is not on the posted agenda. New business requiring action will be added to the agenda for the next meeting of the Commission.
