The Amateur Astronomy Group will be holding an Astronomy Event for the LUNAR ECLIPSE/Blood Moon in conjunction with the Astronomy League at the New Mexico Museum of Space History. The event is free to the public. Everyone is welcome.
This exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education activity is geared towards encouraging people of all ages to experience the night sky through telescopes. Telescopes are NOT required, as the Amateur Astronomers Group are bringing several telescopes for the public to enjoy. You are encouraged to bring your own equipment if you have it and share with the public too!
This event will be in the lower parking lot just above the Tombaugh Education building.
