On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin made history by landing on the Moon and delivering those unforgettable words from Tranquility Base. This presentation, led by Karen Kincaid Brady, the New Mexico Museum of Space History’s new Executive Director, explores that moment and examines Tranquility Base as a cultural landscape and the importance of its preservation.
